Privacy Policy
This is the plain English privacy policy. We do not invade your privacy in any way or have any aim to collect tracking data on you or any client that uses our website. Our servers do collect basic access logs from the web server itself, these detail source IP address, the URL you requested and some other basic details. These logs are rotated frequently (we don't keep these longer than a month or two at best), and are completely private. These logs are more used for working out why something has broken rather than tracking and are rarely looked at.
We do however use Google Analytics to get a rough idea how many people are looking at our sites, which uses a tracking cookie. It's easy to install for us and gives easy to manage pretty graphs of growth and other statistics. This form of traffic monitoring is standard on millions of websites on the internet and is not intended to be invasive. If you object to this form of tracking there are some excellent plug-ins for most major browsers to stop you from being recorded, we highly advise "disconnect" for Google Chrome or unchecking the "accept third party cookies" option in Mozilla Firefox if you wish to stay anonymous.
Please note that once you leave our site through links to reviews or an online store or any other website at all you may be tracked or have cookies placed on your computer that you don't want, this isn't our fault. In summary, we promise not to track you to the possible extent permitted to us while still running a website where we can tell how many people are using it.
